This is a fully conscious choice: to guarantee impeccable quality, favor on-demand production, and reduce our environmental impact.
Take, for example, our bed linen or bath linen, 100% cotton. Nowhere rivals Portugal's expertise. The biggest luxury brands manufacture their collections there, in the same workshops as ManyReasons.

Not necessarily. During an initial estimate, it's clear that we can never match the prices of a low-end product sold in supermarkets and manufactured 12,000 km away under questionable conditions.
However, in the long run, Manyreasons will actually cost you less: you will benefit from superior quality and much greater durability, making your investment more advantageous.
This would obviously be our dearest wish. However, we must be realistic: producing entirely in France has become complex, and sometimes even impossible.
Certain expertise has disappeared, certain manufacturing costs are too high for some types of products, and certain industries have died out or are now much better mastered in other regions or countries
. We would like everything to be local, but we also have to remain realistic!

Since the beginning of the ManyReasons adventure, a few years ago, we chose to adopt an "unconventional" positioning. In an era of express delivery within 48 hours, where an order can arrive faster than an ambulance, we decided to slow down.
We take the time to prepare your order to create beautiful, durable, and impeccably finished pieces.
Like all major luxury houses, we manufacture on demand because we do not produce any stock in advance.
You order, we produce!
No stock, no overproduction, no storage costs, no sales or clearance. You receive a recent product, made especially for you, custom-made, at a controlled price, without going from warehouse to warehouse for months waiting for promotions.
With us, manufacturing begins the moment you place an order, simply because it means you have a real need for that item.
And even if we don't sell millions of pieces, that's not what matters. All it takes is a little patience: the lead time varies between one and five weeks, with an observed average of around three weeks.
Express 48-hour delivery and quality don't always go hand in hand. To get a carefully crafted, freshly made product at a fair price, you have to accept a little patience.
This is also how the luxury world works: you order, then you receive it once the item has been made. Depending on the type of item, your country, and your delivery zone, the lead time varies between one and five weeks, with an average of around two to three weeks.
All this information is clearly indicated in your cart before you confirm your order.

If it doesn't suit you, we commit to taking it back - free of charge.

The feeling of newness, especially in a world like sleep, can be surprising. Don't jump to conclusions by thinking of returning your product after the first night: if our mattresses are firmer than your old mattress, it's normal and beneficial for your health, but this can only be verified over time.
Ultimately, this feeling of newness is only an advantage for you.
Your product, depending on its condition, is transferred to a specialist in processing this type of product, who will then:
- either give it a new life (refurbishment, sale, etc.),
- or transfer it to the waste recovery sector.
We work with the service provider SMARTBACK, a specialist in furniture waste recovery, and we are a member of the ECOMAISON eco-organization, a non-profit organization created in December 2011 for the collection and recycling of used furniture.
The product
- Must be purchased on www.manyreasons - otherwise the commitment does not apply.
- Must not show any signs of improper use.
- Must be completely clean, without traces and without hygiene defects.
- Must be packaged (with protection allowing adequate transport), and made available at ground floor level for collection by you.
You benefit from the legal right of withdrawal of 14 days to return the product(s) concerned at your expense.
For hygiene reasons, returned products must not be used.
Please note that we cannot accept returns of bed linen or bath linen for hygiene reasons, if the products have been unsealed.

Going against the tide of disposable products and limited-use mattresses, we have designed a 100% repairable mattress. Every component can be replaced, adjusted, or refurbished.
And because we believe in what we make, we guarantee our mattress for 10 years.
Like all our products, it is entirely manufactured in Europe. A coherent choice: to limit transportation, reduce our footprint, and stay close to our partners.
Produce better, repair rather than discard, last longer: that's our idea of true ecological responsibility.
As far as possible, we do everything to minimise our impact. While it remains complex, it is above all our vision and our approach to the furniture, bedding, and home linen sector that allow us to take concrete action for the environment.
A series of small actions helps limit our footprint: producing only what is ordered to avoid overproduction and unsold items, designing products made to last to consume less but better, reducing distances by manufacturing as close to you as possible, or favouring responsible practices such as using 100% recycled unprinted cardboard, grouping shipments, and using natural materials when possible.
These are small actions, sometimes restrictive, but necessary to respect our environment.

At Manyreasons, you benefit from our old bedding take-back service, guaranteed by the French recycling channel Ecomaison.
(offer valid only for customers in mainland France and subject to the conditions below).
If you purchase a product with similar characteristics on www.manyreasons, we can take back your old furniture or mattress.
The latter will be recycled or sold through the valorization channel.
A series of conditions must be met to be eligible for the take-back service.
- Have placed an order on our website www.manyreasons
- Have ordered a similar item: if you buy a double mattress, we will take back a double mattress...
- Have ordered a product with dimensions exceeding 30kg and with a total length of at least 200cm. Below these specifications, specialized collection bins are available.
- Have informed us of your wish to return the item within 48 hours after your order has been confirmed.
- Provide us with all requested documents and explanations.
- Have received acceptance from our customer service for the take-back.
P.S.: If you have placed an order with a reseller, you must request this service from the reseller. Many Reasons is not responsible in such cases.

You will need to provide several items beforehand to confirm that your return is possible.

This means giving a piece of furniture/product to our services in exchange for a product with identical technical characteristics and dimensions/weight, with the aim of revalorizing the product (recycling or reuse).

- Selling your item! There's always someone who will be interested...
- Donating it: and that's a gesture for someone who will surely need it.
- Donating it to an association: And that's an even more beautiful gesture! Associations such as EMAUS will even come and collect furniture directly from your home, provided it is in reusable condition.

A win-win recovery implies a definitive and irrevocable donation.
And this is true even if the order is subsequently cancelled...
Beforehand, when you validate your order, you must:
1. inform our customer service, once your order has been accepted, that you wish to have a 1-for-1 collection.
2. Provide by email to our customer service help@bedrepublic.fr the characteristics (type, weight, dimensions, etc.) of the product to be collected + your order reference.
Please note that without this analysis being validated beforehand by our customer service before the delivery of your product, the collection will not be possible.

A specialized company will handle this step, at least 15 days after receipt of your order.
We use the service provider SMART BACK, which has the logistics and expertise to collect and recycle your old furniture or bedding.

Delivery fees are calculated automatically when you finalize your order.
Delivery is made at the foot of your building or directly in front of your house.
Here's a little tip that's both more economical and more eco-friendly: group your purchases. For example, order two mattresses at the same time (one for you, one for a loved one) and you'll see that the delivery fees remain unchanged.
As for returns, they are completely free for mattresses, bed bases, and all eligible products under our 100-night trial policy.
Our deliveries are curb-side - at the foot of the building.
No delivery to upper floors or with installation, unless specifically requested and approved by our sales department.

We cover the return costs for mattresses and bed bases if you are not satisfied, within 60 days.
In case of a logistical problem, return costs are also at our expense only if the issue is reported immediately upon delivery, in writing, to both the carrier and our customer service, for a product that was actually delivered. It is imperative to inform the carrier, otherwise the claim cannot be processed.
For all other products (excluding mattresses and bed bases), return costs are the responsibility of the customer during the legal 14-day withdrawal period.

– the reason for the return (not mandatory but useful)
– ensure that the returned product is at least clean and shows no damage
– all information will be analyzed to validate the acceptance of the return
– please note that without prior validation by our customer service, the product cannot be returned
Before any return, please INFORM customer service IMPERATIVELY in advance for efficient processing of your request.
Any return without contact or information from customer service cannot be processed and will be considered void!
The package(s) must be identified for return with a label, to be clearly visible on the package (provided by our customer service).
Keep your shipping receipt, and especially ask to receive a delivery notification, which proves that the package will be properly delivered to our returns department. Any photos and proof of shipment are good to take, especially in case of carrier disputes.
Return shipping costs and insurance for compliant delivery to our warehouse are your responsibility.

Beyond this period, we do not accept returns for hygiene reasons.
In the case of a purchase through a reseller, the reseller's conditions apply, and we do not provide any reseller with the return conditions present on our BED REPUBLIC website.
By default, for all returns not covered by the 100-night trial guarantee, the legal right of withdrawal period applies (14 days), for which return costs are at your expense.

An opened mattress is much more expensive to return.
Bed or bath linen is considered used and cannot be recovered if it has been opened or used.
If in doubt, do not open the product and contact us if necessary.
We recommend returning the item to our facilities in its original UNOPENED packaging.
When returning an item at your expense, it is VERY STRONGLY advised, to avoid any carrier disputes, to insure your shipment for at least the value of your order. This will give you the assurance that a package that could hypothetically be lost can be valued at its true worth.
Good to know – a default insurance exists, governed by the transport code. In case of loss, the carrier's default insurance reimburses approximately €6-10 per kilogram. This is an example amount and may vary depending on the type of shipment, goods, and carrier.
